In class tournament and grading

Well it was a busy week last week. It all started on Tuesday when we held an In-class grading for Paul and two of our junior students. I am pleased to say that all three passed. Congratulations to each of you! However, and unfortunately, our brown belt will be leaving us as his family is moving. We wish him and his family well.

Saturday saw us hold a Mini Tournament for our Junior karate-ka i.e. the sixteen year olds and unders. It was great to see everyone competing. Congratulations to all those that won a medal and to all for taking part. It was good practice for our Invitational Tournament coming up on January 14th. I hope everyone enjoyed the event. A special thank you to all the Black Belts for judging and scoring and especially to Senseis Kathy and Mike, from our Wado friends in Paris and Caledon, for bringing their tournament equipment to help us out on the day. Much appreciated guys. I would also like to say thanks to all the parents and family for coming out and supporting the competitors.
