You are cordially invited to attend our annual 100 Kata Challenge on Sunday March 31, 2019 at the Shikomu Karate Club, 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Come out and pick up the torch or gauntlet originally inspired by Okinawan karateka.
The 5th annual Worldwide 100 Kobudo Kata Challenge event at various dojos worldwide, is a participation event that celebrates the rich tradition of Okinawan kobudo practice handed down over the centuries and now practiced worldwide by an ever growing number of kobudoka. This international martial arts event led from Okinawa, the home of kobudo and karate consists of performing 100 kata in sequence. Participants are free to choose any kata, and progress at their own pace. Participation is open to all ages and levels.
